Pete has posted this questionaire on his blog, and if it is a success he will make a habit of it – so go on, have a go! You can read my answers below, and below them is a nice little tune for your listening pleasure, entitled Alice, What’s the Matter, it is performed by Terrorvision whom I like because they are local (from Mexborough) and that particular song reminds me of happy nights spent in LTs (which closed and kind of became The Tunnel) in Scarborough in the mid-90s, and it ties in with question 15.

Update: Actually, you can’t see/hear the tune below because Blogger keeps telling me it isn’t a valid tag (it’s not xhtml and when I make it so it reverts back to html) anyhow, you will find it here just open in a new window and listen while you read :-)

1… what is your favourite bird?
I’ve always liked swans, sparrows too, they are cute.

2…how many pairs of shoes do you have?
No idea. It’s a lot though, I would say at least 30

3…what did you have for dinner?
Well, I’m filling this in on Sunday when I had beef etc, no idea what I will have today.

4…could you ever eat snails?
NO!

5…what was the last thing you had in your mouth?
A glass of cranberry juice

6…what is your best feature?
Probably my hair, I have good hair

7…what is your worst feature?
I’ve never liked my elbows

8…who is your best friend?
Tracy, we have been friends since we were 8

9…who was your childhood nemesis?
The boy from over the road whom I won’t name, but he was an idiot

10…having fun?
yes thank you

11…where in the world would you like to go to tomorrow?
Norway

12…when was the last time you lied?

13…why?
Because it’s not kind to tell someone that their new trousers are hideous

14…how does bob marley like his donuts?
Sorry, I have got to do it – with jam in ;-)

15…tell us a secret about yourself.
When no else is in the house, I put music on and dance around the lounge

  1. I’ll have a go when I get time. |’m a sucker for questionnaires! In the meantime…

I remember Terrorvision! I believe I saw them once but it was a long while ago and I used to do all sorts of things that make my youth kinda hazy to look back on! I’ll look out my old gig tickets (being retentive enough to have kept them!)

On the subject of dancing round the house, why wait until no-one else is in? My daughters have got used to me boogying round and put it down to “Just Dad!”

Dance wherever and whenever the feeling takes you.

  2. Oh no, I could never dance in front of people, I am to dancing what Patrick Moore is to the art of stylish dressing. I used to do it when the boys were younger, but they always laughed at my groovy moves, huh! Actually, I will dance in front of people now, but only after a glass or 3 of wine.

“being retentive enough to have kept them!”

LOL That sounds like Mr Blogs, he keeps old tickets, programmes and so on. He also arranges his cds alphabetically, and I re-arrange them when he isn’t looking (tee hee)

  3. Yup, CDs have to be filed alphabetically where space allows. And chronologically by artist (Physical Graffiti before Presence, for example).

Dance, girl, dance! Get down and get with it, as a very erudite man once said.

  4. I saw Terrorvision too. They were one of the REM support acts at Huddersfield in 1996. They were great

Did those trousers belong to one of your sons by any chance? I feel that way about some of the clothes Jack wears.

Erm, Kate. You remember that blogathon you did and those little quizzes that I got all competitive about. Did you really mean that about a template makeover? It doesn’t matter if you didn’t, or if it’s too long ago, or you’re too busy or you just plain don’t want to but if you could help, it would bve a really good time. I’ve messed up my sidebar. I’ve taken off the music as it was playing up with some laptops and I think I’m about ready for a more grown-up, sophisticated look. There comes a time when tarty pink starts to look a bit HRT.
