Really tiny feet. There is a new member of the Blogs household – Diego* a tiny, eight week old tabby kitten. He is incredibly cute, but I suppose kittens usually are. We were a bit worried about how Stiltzkin (our resident cat) would react, but he took to the little guy very well. Diego on the other hand was clearly terrified of his (comparatively) enormous housemate and decided the best course of action was to make himself big and hiss a lot. Stiltz seemed to understand that he didn’t mean it personally, and didn’t react, but I get the impression he wonders why such an angry dwarf has come to live in his house. The dogs are a pair of daft, soppy things and immediately tried to kiss him and hug him and love him and be his bestest friends forever and ever. Oddly, he didn’t mind that LOL

I have made a decision about the first book and film choices for the book and film club (it wouldn’t be for a rubgy team would it) and you will find them here. If you want to take part, but still haven’t signed up, I still have a couple of Vox invitations left – signing up there will allow you to post directly to the main page. If you would prefer to post your review on your own blog, leave a comment here to let me know, then email me the url of your post so that I can add it to the main blog – that way all the other members will be able to pop by and have a read.

And that’s it :-)

*For any England fans out there, I didn’t name him, that was the work of Number One Son, but the name is apt because this Diego is small and plump just like his namesake. I don’t know if he cheats at football though.

  1. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaawe! A new kitten! I want a new kitten. We have been talking about it but never get around to getting one.

  2. We have only the 14 ferrel cats messing around on the farm. Last night I was awoken by the sound of a cat riot in our front garden!
I still wouldn’t be without them though. Say hello to Diego from me.

  3. I feel for Stiltz. How could you do that to him? If ever my people decided to bring in a kitten, I’d freak. I heard them talking about getting me a pet one day, but I’m not happy about it.

  4. Nixxie – we were the same, we talked about it for ages but never got around to actually getting one. Number One Son brought Diego home, he works in a pub and D’s mother was a stray who was found rummaging through the bins about three months ago. The landlady took her in, then she produced 3 kittens.

Cotswoldgent – Welcome back, hope you had a nice holiday :-)

Wow 14 cats! I bet they make a noise when they decide to riot LOL

Cat – You are right, it was very remiss of us, we should have realised Stiltz didn’t need any pets, he already has some – us.

  5. I don’t know about cheating at football but don’t read a newspaper when lying on the floor. He is bound to walk all over it!!

  6. LOL Yes, what is it with cats and newspapers. Our older cat does the same thing to the keyboard – he even manages to press buttons that do things, but I can never figure out what these buttons are.
